Cloud-based models are the mainframes of our era: powerful but distant. ClariPpi envisions the next phase — decentralized AGI — where intelligence flows seamlessly across cloud, edge, and device. This isn’t about replacing the cloud; it’s about complementing it. In this hybrid world, AI becomes embedded, adaptive, and trustworthy — enabling responsive autonomy, on-prem insight, and continuous learning at the edge. Our goal is to build the infrastructure layer of the AGI era, integrating computation, data, and intelligence into one cohesive ecosystem.
People Behind ClariPpi
ClariPpi was founded by Dr. Chengchen Hu, a visionary technologist with a rare combination of academic depth, corporate leadership, and entrepreneurial experience. Our global team brings together top engineers and researchers across hardware, software, and AI systems, sharing a common spirit — to make technology that reveals potential, not adds complexity. Founder & CEO, ClariPpi Chengchen is one of the few technologists who have excelled across top academia, leading enterprises, and successful startups. He served as Chief Expert and Associate Vice President of Technology Planning at NIO, where he chaired the General Artificial Intelligence Committee, driving initiatives in intelligent systems and mobility innovation. Previously, he was Director of Xilinx Labs Asia Pacific and Head of the CTO Office APAC, after a distinguished academic career as Chair Professor and Head of Computer Science at Xi’an Jiaotong University, where he co-founded two tech startups. Chengchen earned his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University, holds over 30 patents in China and the U.S., and has published more than 100 papers in top-tier conferences such as AAAI, ICML, SIGCOMM, and NSDI. His work has been recognized with Best Paper Awards, the MOE New Century Talents Award, and fellowships from ERCIM and Microsoft Research. At ClariPpi, he leads with a belief that clarity unlocks intelligence, shaping technology that bridges vision and action, potential and performance.

Our engineers and researchers come from world-class universities (Tsinghua University, National University of Singapore, and etc.) and leading technology companies (Microsoft, Intel, NIO,, Alibaba Cloud, etc.), bringing together the rigor of research, the discipline of large-scale engineering, and the agility of a startup.
